Just in time for the Washington Football Team‘s 2021 NFL season, the DC Lottery has unveiled new WFT scratchers.
The official lottery of DC also recently unveiled a WFT-themed e-instant game.
The WFT scratch-off tickets are available at DC Lotto retailers across the district. Meanwhile, the “online scratcher” is available at DCLottery.com.
Are you ready to scoop up some WFT scratchers or play online? If so, the top prize is $50,000, and many other Washington Football Team-themed prizes are up for grabs.
Win up to $50,000 with WFT Scratchers
The WFT scratchers officially debuted on Wednesday, Aug. 4, and they cost $5 each.
With each scratcher card, you receive 15 Washington helmets. Scratch them off to reveal a number and a potential prize for that number. Those are “Your Jersey Numbers.”
Then, at the top of the ticket, there are four little jerseys, titled “Winning Jerseys.” If your numbers match any of the winning numbers, you receive that prize. However, if you uncover a special field goal icon, you win double the prize that is shown.
You can win up to 15 times on each ticket, and the grand prize is $50,000.

Play WFT e-instant games at home
WFT scratchers are sure to be a hot ticket at gas stations, convenience stores, and other DC Lottery retailers throughout the district. However, you don’t need to leave home to play.
The Washington Football Team e-Instant game on the DC Lottery website has gameplay similar to the offline version. One difference, though, is a “Field Goal Bonus Game” that activates once three symbols are shown.
However, just keep in mind that you have to be physically located within DC borders to play the online WFT scratcher. In fact, the system won’t even allow you to try the demo mode of the game if you’re not geo-located within DC.
You can play the online version for 5 cents to $2 per game.
Second chances with WFT scratchers
You can enter any non-winning $5 Washington Football Team scratcher into the Second Chance contest through Feb. 13, 2022.
Potential Second Chance prizes include all kinds of WFT memorabilia and experiences. For example:

The Washington Football Team, which is the reigning NFC East champions, kicks off the 2021 NFL season on Sept. 12 (1 p.m.) with a home game against the Los Angeles Chargers.
