Claiming Multi-Match winnings

Maryland Lottery regulations require prizes larger than $25,000 to be claimed via mail or in person at the Lottery headquarters. The headquarters are located at Montgomery Park Business Center in Baltimore.

Winners who want to claim their big prize must make an appointment with the Lottery Claims Center to do so. No walk-ins are accepted.

Another option for big-ticket winners is to drop off a completed claim form, the winning ticket, and copies of their state photo ID and proof of tax ID or Social Security number. The items can be dropped at the Lottery drop box in the lobby of the headquarters.

For winnings larger than $25,000, processing and issuing of funds could take up to 30 business days.

According to Lottery officials, the lucky winner should sign the back of the winning jackpot ticket and keep it in a secure place until it can be claimed.

The winner has a total of 182 days after the drawing date to claim their big prize.
