A 12th Maryland online sportsbook is now available.
On Thursday, betParx Maryland officially launched to add to the growing library of online sportsbooks in Maryland. The Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency announced the launch of the sportsbook Thursday as part of its monthly revenue release.
Maryland will be the fifth state in which betParx has found a home in the online sports betting world.
Here’s what Maryland bettors can expect when trying out betParx online sportsbook.
betParx Maryland offers wide sports betting selection
betParx Maryland is partnered with Greenmount Station in Hampstead, which has been granted permission for legal retail sports betting from the state.
Now, with an online sportsbook up and running, Maryland bettors will find a wide selection of available sports to wager on as well as betting options.
betParx offers up more than two dozen different sporting organizations to choose from. Betting options for users will include:
- Moneylines
- Spreads
- Totals (over/unders)
- Parlays
- Same-game parlays
- Teasers
- Live betting
- Prop bets
- Futures
Maryland the fifth state to land betParx
With Maryland in the mix, betParx sportsbook is now available in five different states.
The Maryland joins Michigan, New Jersey, Ohio and Pennsylvania as states offering betParx.
In those four other states, betParx olds just about a 0.5% market share of online sports betting handle.
The brand has struggled to establish itself as a major player nationally among the likes of FanDuel, DraftKings and BetMGM. Perhaps Maryland can be an outlier.
How to sign up for betParx Maryland
Signing up for a betParx Maryland account isn’t much different than what you have seen from other Maryland sportsbooks.
When creating a new account, the information you will need to provide includes:
- First name
- Last name
- Social Security number
- Home address
- Email address
- Password for your account
Once you have established your account you can put funds into it and begin placing your wagers.
betParx offers your standard payment methods, which require at least a $10 deposit.
Acceptable payment options include:
- Visa, Mastercard, Discover
- eCheck/ACH through your bank account
- PayPal
- Parx Casino Play+, a personalized Parx Casino prepaid card
- Skrill
- Check by mail
- Bank wire, requires a minimum $5,000 deposit.
To withdraw funds, you can use the same methods outside of bank wire. To withdraw with a card, PayPal or Skrill, you must have first deposited with that method first.
