With the addition of Brew Brothers pub, Horseshoe Casino Baltimore now has a sports bar to accompany its recently opened sportsbook.
When Maryland casinos ushered in legal sports betting with in-person wagering, Horseshoe Casino quickly pounced.
After MGM National Harbor was the first to launch on Dec. 9, Horseshoe Casino debuted the following day.
On Dec. 10, the Baltimore casino opened its Caesars Sportsbook for retail sports betting. (Full statewide online sports betting in MD isn’t expected until later this year.)
So, with Maryland sports bettors forced to place their wagers at one of five MD casinos with sportsbooks, there’s a need to wine and dine potential customers. And with the recent opening of Brew Brothers sports bar, Horseshoe Casino Baltimore has given bettors one more reason to stop in.
What to expect at Brew Brothers at Horseshoe Casino
Super Bowl Sunday is just days away. With the Big Game taking place on Feb. 13 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, Marylanders are busy making their plans back here at home.
Super Bowl LVI betting is already well underway at Maryland’s retail sportsbooks. Lots of football bettors jumped at the chance to bet the Cincinnati Bengals vs. Los Angeles Rams early lines. Now, they’ve also got a smorgasbord of Super Bowl prop betting options for the biggest US betting day of the year.
And if they stop by Horseshoe Casino Baltimore, they have some new dining options with their sports-betting adventures.
The Baltimore Business Journal‘s Amanda Yeager recently got a tour of the new space. She also posted a great photo gallery showing the finished space and some food and drink options.
Brew Brothers’ attractions include:

Have you heard of the Brew Brothers Burger Challenge?
Brew Brothers and the Horseshoe Casino Baltimore sportsbook should be busy attractions on Super Bowl Sunday.
In fact, casino officials plan to bring in additional self-service sports-betting kiosks for the big day and influx of betting activity.
But even beyond Super Bowl, Brew Brothers should be a go-to venue for gamblers of other types.
More specifically? The Brew Brothers’ Gregg’s Burger Challenge. You’re going to have to be the risk-taking type to tackle this one:
The 30-minute eating challenge even has an entry on FoodChallenges.com. Here’s a video of one man’s successful attempt.
So, what do you have to fit down your gullet?:
- Six 1/2 pound burger patties
- One bun per burger
- Cheese, bacon, lettuce, onions and tomatoes
- Fries
If you successfully finish it, you get your meal for free, as well as a free shirt and free growler (as well a month’s worth of cholesterol).
So, what are the odds of finishing the burger challenge? Caesars Sportsbook won’t be taking action on it, of course. And competitive eaters are going to have a decided advantage over a layman.
Plus, if the odds were that good, Brew Brothers simply couldn’t afford to host the challenge. After all, you don’t build casinos – or in-casino burger bars – by losing money.
